Consultant, Program Design and Policy, Ministry of Social Services, Regina, SK     08/2022 – 09/2024

  • Managed change, led the development, modification, and amendment of legislation and regulations; worked on cabinet documents.
  • Oversaw regulation amendments and policy development for The Saskatchewan Assured Income for Disability Regulation, The Saskatchewan Income Support Regulation, and The Saskatchewan Assistance Regulations, among others.
  • Led judicial review standing meetings, maintained a log of judicial cases and collaborated with Justice to prepare a draft of affidavits for legal purposes.
  • Represented the ministry on Federal, Provincial, and Territorial (FPT) calls and responded to inquiries from FPT colleagues. Lead the Canada Disability Benefit portfolio.
